Another nice day for driving

Friday, May 10th was a nice day for moving. We moved from Indianapolis Indiana to outside Cambridge Ohio, which is very close to Wheeling West Virginia. Nice days have been rare on this trip, but nice when they happen on a travel day. It was about a 265 mile day. I-70 in Indiana was terrible, but very nice for the most part in Ohio.

We are at Salt Fork state park. A huge sate park complete with lodge, restaurant, golf course etc. We took a tour after we got set up in our assigned camping spot. 100% chance of rain for tomorrow so our rainmaker reputation is not in jeopardy.

Yesterday I mentioned a change in blog and a sort of challenge to identify it. That in retrospect was an unfair challenge. On the first page you see a picture of states visited via RV. The change/something new was Indiana was colored in because we were in Indiana. Well if you look now you will also see Ohio colored in. If all goes per plans, 7 new states will be colored in on this trip. Probability of the remained getting colored in is slight. Have been to most of them on business but those do not count, only those Maggie took us to, or now Veronica. Veronica is a sweet baby to follow us down the highway.

Stay tuned for more from Ohio, the buckeye state.

  1. A beautiful area! My dad's father lived in Toledo. He was a lawyer who had some acreage and kept bees as a hobby. I only visited Ohio as a child. Remember Grandpa would ride us around his property on a tractor. Very pretty country. dbd
