Have spent some time reading blogs by some rv'ers. People who live full time in their rv and roam the country. Doing this brought several things to mind. I once met a limo driver who had only been on Manhattan island. Can you say limited life experience? It also got me to map out where I have been. This led to two maps, one with states visited via air travel and one with states visited via automobile. I intentionally left off any states visited as a child. Will see how much we can change the auto map. A exercise in curiosity.
States via air travel
States visited by automobile, or via land if you will
Ultimate goal is to color in the lower 48 and maybe Alaska. Decent enough goal for a retired couple I believe. Next weeks journey will be a swing through central Texas featuring state parks and historical sites.

Fun day
Enjoyed a fun day on Broken Bow lake. Rented a speedboat and prowled the lake. Stopped in some secluded coves for a refreshing dip. Will have to post some photo's later as they are on another device. For now a little wine, then off to dinner here. After that, more wine, hot tub, you get the idea!
More later, including pictures I promise.
A very nice September day on Broken Bow lake.

A change of pace...
Yes, this blog was supposed to be about our travels in the motorhome. Thought you might enjoy a quick visit to the Beavers Bend area of SE Oklahoma. Cabin rented from here. This cabin is named Northern Lights. Will post more photos and area information as the weekend progresses.
