On Sunday June 27th we made the short, 130 miles or so, drive to Winterset Iowa. Our home for the next four days. This is a quaint, picturesque town with a park system that rivals much larger communities. The main attraction for me in this area is the covered bridges. Full confession, I love the movie "Bridges of Madison County". A tear jerker for me.
