Bonaire

Bonaire is probably best known for it's world class diving and scuba. The water is crystal clear as you will see in the video. It's main industry is salt production. They have been producing salt here since the days of the slave trade.

It does not have the beautiful beaches of Aruba, nor the pretty city of Curacao. The island is mostly desert with no fresh water. It is flat in the south where they produce the salt, more hilly in north. City and roads in dire need of repair

next stop Aruba

  2. I knew you had been there multiple times. Of the three ABC islands, Bonaire was my least favorite. But then we are not divers and my opinion probably jaded due to bad excursion experience. Enjoy your upcoming dive trip
