 Damn proud of what that shows. One more state to color in when we get to South Dakota. North Dakota will remain blank, not visited. Wisconsin is blank even though we were camped on the Mississippi river in Dubuque Iowa. Cross the bridge and we would have been in Wisconsin. Did not do it, not colored in as visited. I do have some ethics...

Grand Teton 3.1

Our time here is nearly done. The average number of frost free days is 60, we have been here one tenth of that. Took some hardy folks to settle this valley. They say it was one of the last areas to be settled due to the conditions. Poor soil, short growing season, tough winters. Would like to return in either early May or late September.

 No phone or data at our next stop. We did find cell service just in Old Faithful parking lot, no further than that.

 Spoiler alert: Yesterday we went to Yellowstone and spent the day at old Faithful and surrounding thermal area. If you have not been get off your ass and get there. Our week stay starting Thursday will not be long enough to begin to experience it.

 While we have been hampered by smokey haze we had a day where it was not too bad. When the air is clear the view is truly majestic. This park is quickly becoming one of our favorites, top 5 for sure. Thank you John D. Rockefeller.

 Town of Jackson, while interesting is way too crowded and over priced for our liking. In case you are wondering or confused: town is Jackson, valley area known as Jackson hole.


Going to Yellowstone today, even though we will be there for a week starting Thursday.

Jackson Hole

After a beautiful drive along the Snake river we arrived in Jackson Wyoming. Our campsite inside Grand Teton NP is in Colter Bay, about 40 miles north. Once again no internet, (I'm am borrowing from business now). That means my attempts at daily updates is not going to happen in all probability. Will do what I can for you. Grand Teton is a beautiful place and the smoke lifted some as well. We are here till 16th when we move into Yellowstone. Expect the same or worse connectivity issues there. On 23rd we move to Cody Wyoming where I hope to catch up with photos and details.
